The purpose of ONT (Optical Network Terminal) enclosures is to hide fiber modems from view and at the same time protect them from shock and dust. There are versions with a metal lid, with plastic cover and with wooden cover. The plastic and wooden cover allows the Wi-Fi signal to pass through with little attenuation.

The base plate can be removed if needed, for example when the enclosure is installed over a wall socket and the enclosure is mounted directly on the wall.
The cover is made of white polycarbonate, ensuring excellent Wi‑Fi signal performance.
The cover is also available in wood (birch, oak and ash)
